2 Easy Steps to making Incredible Alabama White BBQ Sauce

Few things are as good as fresh homemade sauce and making fresh Alabama white BBQ sauce is right at the top of the list of the most delicious and easiest sauces to make.

With a handful of everyday ingredients and a whisk, you can wow your family and friends at your next backyard BBQ.  This sauce created by Big Bob Gibson's BBQ in Decatur, Alabama as a topper and marinade for grilled chicken, however it is also great on pork, beef, baked potatoes and just about anything else you can think of.

This is the part of the blog where we're supposed to bore you with a life story and about how grandma used to make white sauce for us on Sunday afternoons...  but who has time for that!

Here we go!

Ingredients:

1 Cup Mayonnaise (I prefer Hellmans or Dukes)

1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

2 Tbsp Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice

2 Tbsp BBQ Rub (Meat Church - Texas Sugar is my favorite for white sauce)

1 Tbsp White Sugar

Step 1: Take everything above and put it in a large bowl (I usually double or triple this recipe).  Now, get out your whisk and stir the mixture until its nice and smooth then pour it into a squeeze bottle.

Step 2: Guess what?!?!...  You are done!  Squirt the white sauce on whatever your heart desires and store the sauce bottle in the fridge for days of deliciousness.
